Lesson 8 of 8 · Independent practice

Run a focused self-review cycle

Use a recording or memory of the answer to choose one evidence-based change for the next attempt.

1

Review the message first

Ask whether the answer addressed the question and whether the main idea was understandable. A fluent response to a different question still needs refocusing.

2

Find one observable pattern

Listen for a repeated behaviour: unfinished sentences, flat stress or the same general word. Record a concrete observation rather than a band guess.

3

Repeat with one target

Answer the same prompt again while changing only the selected pattern. Compare the two attempts, then choose the next target. This is practice evidence, not examiner scoring.

Next-attempt checklist

  • Check relevance and clarity first.
  • Name one observable pattern.
  • Repeat with one specific target.

Check and rehearse

Choices and notes remain only in this page. They are not recorded, uploaded or scored by AI. They are not saved to an account.

1. What should self-review examine first?
2. Which note is observable?
3. What should change in the next take?

Choose one answer for every question, then check.
