Who we are
English Test Coach is operated by WOODCOMMERCE LTD, a company registered in the United Kingdom. Contact us about your account, billing or these terms at support@englishtestcoach.com.
The service
English Test Coach provides independent IELTS writing-practice software, including automated feedback, estimated bands, revision guidance, practice prompts, and saved progress. It is not affiliated with IELTS, the British Council, IDP or Cambridge.
Estimates, not official results
Automated scores and feedback are educational estimates. They are not official IELTS results, do not guarantee a future score, and should be checked using your own judgment or a qualified teacher.
Acceptable use
You must not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass usage controls, access another user's data, upload unlawful material, or use the service to infringe third-party rights. Fair-use daily limits protect the service for everyone and are shown when they apply.
Your writing
You retain ownership of writing you submit. You allow English Test Coach and its service providers to process it only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service, as described in the privacy notice.
Pro subscription and payment
Pro costs £12 per month and renews automatically each month until you cancel. No VAT is currently added. Payment is taken by card through Stripe at the start of each monthly period. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe may retry it; Pro access pauses while payment remains unpaid. Pro is granted only after the payment is confirmed by Stripe.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel any time from your account using the billing portal. Pro stays active until the end of the month you have already paid for, and does not renew after that. Payments are not refunded for partial months. When you subscribe, you ask for Pro to start immediately and acknowledge that your 14-day right to cancel ends once access begins. This does not affect your statutory rights if the service is faulty or not as described; contact us and we will put things right.
Availability and liability
The service may occasionally be unavailable or produce incomplete or inaccurate feedback. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom where you live.
