Affiliate terms

English Test Coach is operated by WOODCOMMERCE LTD. Questions about the programme go to support@englishtestcoach.com. These terms sit alongside the site's general terms of service and privacy notice.

You apply with the form on the affiliate page. We review every application and may accept or decline it for any reason. You take part as an independent business or individual, not as our employee, agent or partner, and you may not make promises or agreements on our behalf.

Your link adds ?ref=yourcode to any page of englishtestcoach.com. When someone opens it, we store your code in a cookie on their device for 60 days and log the click (your code, the time and the page; no IP address). If they later open another affiliate's link, that newer link counts instead. A customer is yours when their first payment carries your code.

You earn 30% (40% for founding affiliates who applied on or before 2027-03-31) of each payment a customer you referred makes (the amount before tax, after any discount) for 12 months from their first payment, on monthly Pro payments and one-off exam passes. Commission is worked out in GBP; payments in another currency earn no commission. You earn nothing on your own purchases, or on purchases by someone using your email address or payment account.

A refund (full or partial) or a chargeback cancels the commission on that payment. If it was already paid to you, we deduct the same amount from your next payout. If we win a chargeback dispute, the commission is restored.

Commission becomes payable 30 days after the customer's payment. Once a month we total what has become payable; when it is at least £50 we pay it by hand using a method we agree with you, and smaller amounts roll over to the next month. Nothing is paid automatically. Your private dashboard shows what you have earned, what is payable and what we have paid. You are responsible for any tax on what you earn.

You must make clear that you are an affiliate wherever you share your link: in the post, video description or page itself, next to the link, in words your audience will understand (for example "Affiliate link: I earn a commission if you subscribe"). A disclosure hidden behind a click or only on a separate page is not enough.

Approved affiliates get descriptions, images and one-line claims in their dashboard. You may use them as they are while you are in the programme. If you write your own wording, it must follow these terms.

You can leave at any time by telling us. We can pause or end your participation at any time. If you break these terms, we may end it straight away and withhold commission linked to the breach. Otherwise, commission you earned before the end is still paid under these terms.

We may change these terms or the commission. We will show the change on this page and in your dashboard before it applies; commission already earned keeps the terms it was earned under.
